Pumpkin Cheese Ball

This idea and recipe came from Taste Of Home and it made a nice little addition to the Halloween Family get-together! The spider was perfect!!!!!!!
You could surely use a chunky pretzel rod for the stem but the celery worked quite well!

Cheese Ball

1 package (8 oz.) cream cheese, softened
1 - 8 oz. carton spreadable chive and onion cream cheese
2 cups shredded sharp cheddar cheese
2 teaspoons paprika
1/2 teaspoon cayenne pepper
1 celery rib (for stem) or pretzel rod
Parsley or celery leaves for decor' on the stem
Sliced apples and assorted crackers

In a small bowl, beat the cream cheeses together until smooth. Stir in the cheddar cheese, paprika, and cayenne pepper. Shape into a ball (pumpkin shape) and wrap in plastic wrap, refrigerate for about 4 hours or until firm.

Place on serving plate and add "pumpkin lines" to the ball...insert stem, etc.

Serve with crackers and apples for a nice fall treat!
